AR New into Old Live

Join us virtually on Wednesday 6 August at 1pm BST to learn about the winning project of the AR New into Old awards 2025, designed by ARCity Office in China.

ARCity Office will be presenting their bricolage houses project live, followed by a Q&A chaired by The Architectural Review's editors.

Developed with local residents in Shenzhen’s hyperdense urban village of Nantou, the project includes rooftop terraces, exhibition spaces and performance balconies, offering a sensitive alternative to large-scale urban renewal and supporting a more inclusive vision for city living where art and culture play a central role.

The awards’ three judges – May al-Ibrashy, William Mann and Rossana Hu – will all be joining to take part in the discussion.

This virtual event will last one hour and is free to attend – join us by registering below.
